HAIR: The Tribal Love/Rock Musical tells the story of “The Tribe”, a group of politically active, long-haired hippies navigating life in New York City’s Bohemia at the dawn of the “Age of Aquarius”. Themes of late 1960’s counterculture, social defiance, and anti-war sentiment are expressed through big, bright, and beautiful dance numbers. Featuring the individual talents of many local actors, this show will immerse you deeply into the HIPPY LIFE! Directed and choreographed by Monterey County’s own Lanier Fairchild.
