Enchantrix presents… HAIR: The Tribal Love/Rock Musical, which tells the story of “The Tribe”, a group of politically active, long-haired hippies navigating life in New York City’s Bohemia at the dawn of the “Age of Aquarius”. Themes of late 1960’s counterculture, social defiance, and anti-war sentiments are sprinkled alongside those of extreme sexual freedom, spiritual awakening, and the trials of communal living. This is a new take on a bold classic! With a hint of circus flare, this show includes tap dancing, aerial acts, puppetry, black lights galore, and so much more! Directed and choreographed by longtime local, Lanier Fairchild, and featuring the individual talents of many of Monterey County’s actors. This show will immerse you deeply into the HIPPY LIFE and show you it’s time to “Let the Sunshine In!”
